Shruti Priya Senior Law Clerk

Shruti Priya is a technology and privacy lawyer admitted in India, focused on AI, data protection, and commercial technology transactions. She is a Senior Law Clerk at Holon Law Partners LLP, where she supports the firm’s attorneys on matters involving technology companies, consumer platforms, and growth-stage businesses — researching regulatory questions, preparing analyses, and drafting transaction documents.

Before joining Holon, she spent over a decade in-house at global technology companies. Her experience spans global privacy and cross-border data programs, including health data governance under HIPAA. It covers the software, cloud, platform, IP licensing, distribution, and professional services agreements behind enterprise technology, and the corporate and M&A transactions that carry companies through growth and public-market readiness. She has also advised on advertising and marketing law across North America and Europe, including claim substantiation, disclosures and disclaimers, endorsement practices, and product labeling, as well as consumer subscription, e-commerce, payments, and financing models.

Her recent work has focused on how AI reaches the consumer. Shruti has designed the terms and disclosure architecture for AI-enabled products. Where separate policies, addenda, and product-specific terms tend to accumulate as features ship, she has worked to consolidate them into a single framework that holds across markets — reducing what a user has to read and what the business has to maintain as the technology changes. Having spent her career in-house, she approaches these problems from the operator’s side of the table, building compliance into products before it becomes a constraint on launch.

Outside of work, Shruti enjoys traveling, deep-sea diving, cooking, and studying Korean language and culture.
