Aaron Tucker Counsel
Aaron Tucker is Counsel at Holon Law Partners, where he manages a diverse practice spanning corporate, commercial, transactional, intellectual property, and complex regulatory, administrative, and enforcement matters. He has extensive experience helping industry leaders in the cannabis, hemp, natural medicines, and food and beverage sectors scale their businesses while aligning product, operations, and business strategy with multi-state and multi-national regulatory requirements.
Aaron previously served as a cross-functional leader and in-house counsel with one of the largest cannabis operators in the world, where he led cross-functional teams through numerous successful, competitive state cannabis license applications, government affairs initiatives, and other corporate growth efforts, while also advising on a broad range of corporate, tax, banking, securities, employment, regulatory, and compliance matters.
In private practice, Aaron has routinely advised clients on entity formation, corporate governance, and financing transactions, as well as vendor and distributor agreements, intellectual property licensing, and a broad range of other commercial matters.
Aaron brings a distinctly operations-oriented approach to the practice of law. With a certificate in entrepreneurial law, a first-of-its-kind certificate in cannabis entrepreneurship from the University of Colorado, a certificate in cannabis production from Oaksterdam University, and extensive general counsel and cross-functional leadership experience, Aaron is known for navigating complex issues at the intersection of product, process, and law.
He has also led the development of business intelligence, market analysis, and legal-technology processes for clients, eliminating contract approval backlogs, enhancing deal velocity, and building systematic frameworks to evaluate vendor spend and other deal KPIs.
Outside the office, Aaron can usually be found running or skiing the trails near his home in Evergreen, Colorado, with his wife.
