Damian Taylor Partner

Damian Michael Taylor is a founding partner of Holon Law Partners and the architect of the firm’s global expansion strategy. He leads Holon’s international market development, building the transatlantic relationships and institutional presence that position the firm at the frontier of emerging technology, AI governance, and cross-border regulatory practice across the United States and Europe.

Damian spent the first half of his adult life abroad. At twenty-two he moved to Siberia, spending three years in Russia before joining the Marine Corps. He served as an adjutant in Okinawa, Japan — the senior administrative and legal officer of his command, responsible for managing legal affairs, conducting criminal investigations, and the assignment of personnel to operational theaters. He was selected twice to serve as his unit’s liaison to the Japanese government and Self-Defense Forces.

Returning to the United States after nearly a decade abroad, he earned his JD and MBA from New York University and went on to work across commercial transactions, restructuring, and regulatory compliance at Davis Polk & Wardwell before joining Holon as a founding partner.

Today, Damian leads Holon’s European strategy from the ground, based in Prague. He cultivates relationships across the Czech, German, and broader CEE technology and venture ecosystems, engages institutional partners navigating EU AI Act compliance and digital regulatory frameworks, and builds the transatlantic bridges that make Holon a genuine conduit for international activity.

The instinct to seek out unfamiliar ground is where Damian’s work as a connector began. He brings to every engagement what a life lived across languages, legal systems, and cultures produces: the ability to sit with people, understand what they actually need, and find the thread that connects their problems to solutions that work.
